Ovid's Metamorphisis

Ovid was a poet born in Italy in 43 BC. He was from a middle class family. He published many poems. When he published 'Metamorphisis' he was exiled to Tomis in Romania. If this is true he's the man for me. He must have said something really nasty. I mean true. Ovid was very popular with Renaissance artists. Much of Shakespeare was taken from Ovid.
